I hope all of our Saura families are staying safe and warm as we still are dealing with the aftermath of these winter storms. There are still a small number of roads that our buses will not be able to travel down or turn around on. I encourage parents of students who drive to school to ride with your student drivers to assess the road conditions of your neighborhoods. If you are unable to bring your child to school or it is unsafe to travel on your road, any weather related absences will be excused and tardies to school will not be counted. This week we are celebrating our Sweetheart Court with Sweetheart Spirit Week. Monday is Don’t sweat the small stuff (pajama day/sweat suits. Tuesday is Red Flags day, Wednesday is Perfect Pair Day, Thursday is Wear your status Day ( white-single, pink- complicated, red-taken) and Friday is Oldies Day. Tomorrow, progress reports will be coming home and there will be an Athletic Boosters Meeting at 6:30. On Wednesday, we will be having FAFSA Night at South Stokes from 5:30 - 7:00. This week's Saura Shout Out goes to Hadley Cigliano. Hadley demonstrated kindness and sportsmanship by noticing a swimmer from another team who was upset at a meet. She took the initiative to approach her, offering comfort and support before the swimmer competed in her event. Her compassion reflects strong character and respect for others, both in and out of competition. Thank you Hadley, for your kindness and leadership.
