To a small crowd of about 20 people (not including judges and assistants) Casey Sprinkle from Meadowbrook Academy, Matt Fuller-Thompson and Allison Perrell from South Stokes High School competed to be the Winner of the 3rd Annual District Competition of Poetry Out Loud. Despite the usual nervousness and anxiety, all three presented themselves well and made their respective schools look good. Our own Allison Perrell was named Winner of the District Competition and will go on to the State Competition to be held on March 24, 2012 in Greensboro. Congratulations, Allison!
